Oh boy, did we have fun this afternoon! Our classroom was very busy as the children worked on "personalizing" their writing journals. Thank goodness for the parents who brought their glue guns! We needed their help as we turned these little black and white books into masterpieces that told all about us. We had a lot of able-bodied assistants as we all yielded our glue guns to help the children. Thank you so much to the following family members for helping us: Sherri Irwin, Faris Badra, Aryn’s aunt, Jessica Diller, Colette Diotte, Doreen Earle, Jinley Fei, Karen Legal, Ginny Patrick, and Finn’s grandma. I also appreciate those of you who sent extra supplies so everyone had something special to work with. The kids were happy with the results, and there will be no confusion over whose journal is whose anymore! Check out the photo gallery for some fun pictures of our creations!
